Ratings: Broadcast Finals for February 18, 2014

The Winter Olympics posted it's worst ratings, outside of last Saturday night, grabbing just 18.9 million viewers and a 5.0 rating in Adults 18-49. NBC still wins the night, but had CBS been aggressive with their three hit dramas, they may have had an outside chance of beating the Olympics in total viewers.

Week-to-week, the Olympic games are down nearly five million viewers and 24% in the A18-49 ratings. With just four days of competition and the closing ceremonies, the Socihi Games are limping to an end.

The first of a three night run, AMERICAN IDOL does... OK, with it's first Tuesday airing of the season. The episode drew 9.7 million viewers and a 2.7 demo rating, easily placing 2nd for the night.

An encore airing of the new CW series STAR CROSSED did get another decent size sampling, with another 1.1 million viewers checking it out.
