Preliminary Ratings: February 11, 2014
Other than the Winter Olympics, everything was either in repeats or should have been in repeats (FOX - Ouch!).
FOX's numbers look like all four half hours were in repeats, not original episodes. The DADS season finale episodes drew it's series lowest numbers for an original, averaging 2.6 million viewers and a 1.0 demo rating. The chances of this sitcom making it to a second season are under 50%, but FOX does have three more hours to fill next fall, with THE X FACTOR gone. We'll push our Ratings Review on DADS later this week.
NEW GIRL and BROOKLYN NINE-NINE also posted series lows. I seriously believe viewers had no idea that the two sitcoms were airing original episodes on the night, or the DVR, LIVE+7 numbers will be best of the season. Either way, it was a very bad night for FOX.
ABC, CBS and the CW were all in repeats, except for the burn-off episodes of KILLER WOMEN, which drew about what it's season average is. It did do better the the 9 p.m. hour comedies.
Day six of the Winter Olympics was up from the previous night, 1.3 million viewers and a tenth of a ratings point in the A18-49 ratings. I bet the numbers push upward once the Finals are released, later today.
