Ratings: Broadcast Finals for January 5, 2014

Thanks to one of the most watched first round playoff games in a couple of decades, FOX easily wins Sunday night. The overrun of the Packers vs 49ers game drew well over 41.5 million viewers and a whopping 15.1 rating in Adults 18-49. That is over seven million more viewers than watched the primetime game, the night before, on NBC.

NBC was a surprising second place with the two hour special on Jimmy Faloons reign on LATE NIGHT. The best of compilation beat everything else on TV, that was not on FOX. Fallon Takes over THE TONIGHT SHOW on February 17, during the second week of the Winter Olympics.

Have to give some appreciation to ABC's AMERICA'S FUNNIEST VIDEOS. It has become one of the more consistent and growing programs for the network, on Sunday night. It was the most watched ABC program of the night and was right there with the higher profile series of THE BACHELOR and REVENGE.

Sunday Night Network Averages:
ABC - 5.8 million viewers, 1.5 rating in Adults 18-49
CBS - 8.3 million viewers, 1.3 rating in Adults 18-49
FOX - 18.7 million viewers, 7.2 rating in Adults 18-49
NBC - 5.8 million viewers, 1.6 rating in Adults 18-49
