Ratings: Broadcast Finals for January 20, 2014
The Big 4 networks had another tight Monday night as just a half a ratings point separated them, in the A18-49 ratings. ABC and FOX tied in the category, but it was ABC with the most total viewers.
Closing out it's first season on FOX, SLEEPY HOLLOW drew a 6.8 million viewers and a 2.2 rating in Adults 18-49, finishing third during it's two hour finale. The numbers are a bit of a disappointment considering how good of a start the series had, back in September. Look for our Ratings Review on SLEEP HOLLOW coming soon.
Filling in until the Olympics, on NBC, is the second season of HOLLYWOOD GAME NIGHT. The game show isn't expected to do anything in the ratings, and it shows, but is to just keep the seat warm between the seasons of THE VOICE. The HGN finished in 4th position for both hours.
THE BACHELOR remained flat in the week-to-week ratings, with 7.9 million viewers and 2.3 demo rating.
CBS' new action drama INTELLIGENCE is officially a bomb. The 5.8 million viewers, in it's third episode, means now second season and represents a major overhaul for CBS on Monday Nights. Half the night of the current line (1.5 hours) will be gone come September, not to mention what to do with the three remaining comedies. What was once a very strong night for CBS has become an average night, at best.
