Ratings: Broadcast Finals for January 12, 2014

CBS was the most watched network on Sunday night, thanks to huge ratings for the AFC Divisional game between the Denver Broncos and the San Diego Chargers. The game drew 41.2 million viewers and a massive 13.3 rating in Adults 18-49. It was the highest rated NFL game of the weekend, a weekend with big numbers for every game. The match up was up 5% from last year's comparable game, on CBS. At this rate, The two Conference championships and the Super Bowl may be seeing all time records in the ratings for 2014.

CBS also saw all three series, 60 MINUTES, THE GOOD WIFE and THE MENTALIST, post all season hughes in the A18-49 ratings.

ON NBC, the news was just as good as the GOLDEN GLOBE AWARDS was the top show from 8 -11 p.m., grabbing 20.9 million viewers and a 6.5 demo rating. That was good enough to edge CBS in the A18-49 ratings. Compared to last year's coverage of the awards show, the ratings were up by 1.2 million viewers and one tenth of a ratings point in the A18-49 ratings.

ABC and FOX were down, week-to-week, with the added competition and lack of big lead in programming.

CBS - 19.4 million viewers, 5.2 rating in Adults 18-49

FOX - 3.9 million viewers, 1.9 rating in Adults 18-49

NBC - 17.3 million viewers, 5.3 rating in Adults 18-49
