Primetime Cable Ratings: January 10, 2014
The Friday night cable schedule was back to normal, with the usual suspects at the top of the chart. But it was the series premiere of the science fiction series HELIX that caught my eye. The series is produced by Ron Moore of BATTLE STAR GALACTICA fame and the first episode drew 1.8 million viewers. Not bad for a SYFY series, outside of SMACKDOWN.
AMERICAN PICKERS had a good showing on an off night for the series. The two encore episodes collected 1.8 million viewers over the 10 p.m. hour for History.
