Primetime Cable Ratings: January 1, 2014
ESPN's presentation of the 100th Rose Bowl drew the best audience of the night, on both cable and broadcast TV. The game, featuring Michigan State vs Stanford, drew over 18.6 million viewers and a very solid 5.2 rating in Adults 18-49. To date, it is the most watched bowl game this season, but we still have two more BCS bowl games, including the National Championship game on Monday Night.
Keeping the ball rolling for ESPN was the primetime game, the Fiesta Bowl. The game featured smaller schools UCF and Baylor, but was a high scoring game with UCF winning 52-42.
And, as you can see, THE BIG BANG THEORY pretty much fills the rest of the top 10 up with reruns on TBS. 2.5 of the 3 hours of primetime are represented on the chart.
