Ratings Review: FOX Tuesdays - November Sweeps

It has been a struggle, to say the least, for the FOX Tuesday comedy block. Only NEW GIRL has any decent numbers and that is restricted to the A18-49 ratings. Of the four sitcoms, NEW GIRL is the only one that has a big enough increase to consistently appear on the LIVE+7 ratings chart. Hopefully the post-Super Bowl episodes will breath new life into the series as the exposure should attract some new followers.

Also getting a post-Super Bowl spot is the new comedy BROOKLYN NINE -NINE. It has be come the most watched comedy of the night, edging NEW GIRL on most weeks. it's A18-49 ratings are more consistent than the remaining two sitcoms and looks to have that "potential" to grew into something special. it will be a nice fit when NINE-NINE moves into the 9:30 p.m. slot in 2014.

The remaining two comedies, DADS and THE MINDY PROJECT are just plain weak. The ratings show that they drag the night down for the other two comedies. It is only fitting that DADS will conclude in February and THE MINDY PROJECT will have a 3 month hiatus, starting in January.
