Ratings: Broadcast Finals for December 11, 2013

All five networks aired original programming on Wednesday night, with CBS sweeping the night in both viewers and demographic ratings. The network won every hour of the night. The only blemish was losing the half 9:00 half hour to MODERN FAMILY. CRIMINAL MINDS was the night's most watched program, drawing 11.2 million viewers.

ABC was a close second place as the veteran sitcoms THE MIDDLE and MODERN FAMILY produced strong numbers on the night. Dragging the ABC average down were the two freshmen comedies, each losing a good chunk of their lead in audience, with SUPER FUN NIGHT barely keeping half of the MODER FAMILY numbers.

THE SING-OFF, on NBC, lost about 2.3 million viewers and 25% in the A18-49 ratings. However, it did easily beat THE X FACTOR has became 'no factor' this fall season.

The Kelly Clarkson holiday special did mediocre ratings, at 10 p.m. Just 5.3 million viewers and a 1.4 demo rating put it even with NASHVILE in the hour.
