Primetime Cable Ratings: December 20, 2013
GOLD RUSH sweeps the night as both the most watched cable program of the night and the highest rated show in the A18-49 demographic. It also anchored a full night of Discovery programming that made this top 10 chart.
Also ding well was SMACK DOWN, giving SYFY two strong hours of primetime programming. the long running wrestling series drew just over 2.7 million viewers. But, how long will SYFY have the franchise? WWE has all of it's wrestling franchises up for contract renewal and all could see new network homes in 2014, including a spot on the proposed WWE cable channel.
