Social Activity TV Chart: November 14, 2013
Broadcast TV was the dominate player in Thursday's social TV activity, lead by social powerhouse THE X FACTOR. For the second straight night, THE X FACTOR collected over 480,000 posts, but it is down nearly 100k from last Thursday's edition.
SCANDAL, GLEE and THE VAMPIRE DIARIES all hauled in over 100,000 posts on the night. With exception of SCANDAL, the top four programs create high activity in social media, but low ratings on the TV set.
Over on the cable chart, PSORTS was the dominate programing genre. The TNT NBA doubleheader collected a combined 161,000 social messages. That was good enough to overtake the NFL game, which amassed 73,000. ESPN's SPORTSCENTER rounds out the top four of the chart.
