Ratings: Broadcast Finals for November 11, 2013
Not a very good second Monday of the November sweeps, where you were lucky if you were flat, week-to-week, let alone see any growth from last week.
The CBS comedy block was down from last week, as three of the four series dropped in the ratings. The lone sitcom to see growth was 2 BROKE GIRLS at 8:30 p.m, up one tenth of a ratings point in the demo ratings. MIKE & MOLLY fell three tenths of a point, which lead to MOM falling under a 2.0 rating in the demo numbers.
DANCING WITH THE STARS posted season lows, drawing just a 1.7 rating in Adults 18-49 and 12.6 million viewers. The dancing series is losing more and more steam with each passing season. I would say this could be the last year for the aged series, but multiple problems with its scripted series will allow another painful season, or two, with ABC.
BONES finished its Monday night run on an up note, collecting 7.4 million viewers and a 2.0 rating in Adults 18-49. It is up 400k in total viewers, from last week. The solid veteran series moves to Friday, this week, as it tries to bring the night back to the glory FOX had, nearly two decades earlier.
NBC saw a rise in the numbers for the entire night. THE VOICE was up in viewers and gained two tenths of a ratings point in the A18-49 numbers, over last week's ratings. It is one of the few times this season, THE VOICE has seen an increase in the numbers, over the prior week.
THE BLACKLIST also rose in viewers and demo, gaining a tenth of a point in the A18-49 ratings. Next week, the hit freshman series will be preempted by an expanded THE VOICE, running during the 10 p.m. hour.
