Ratings: Broadcast Finals for November 3, 2013

With a full hour of an NFL overrun during the 7 p.m. hour, CBS faired well with only thee of the four scheduled series airing in primetime. THE MENTALIST aired after the 11 p.m. hour. The AMAZING RACE posted its best numbers in a month and THE GOOD WIFE posted a season high on the night. This is just more proof that CBS needs to find a way to keep the schedule at four hours when football overruns into primetime.

For the second week in a row, SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL posted low numbers for the the game. It was the second lowest ratings of the season, besting only last week's game. What was looking to be a blow out by the Texans at halftime, ended up being a close game as the Colts came back in the second half with 21 unanswered points.

The FOX animation block was back for the first time since before the MLB Playoffs and the four series posted ratings similar to what they had before the games began.
