Ratings: Broadcast Finals for October 21, 2013

Each of the four networks experienced a drop in the week-to-week ratings, in one form or another. For ABC, DANCING WITH THE STARS saw an increase in viewers (+360k), but dropped 5% in the A18-49 ratings. CASTLE took a bigger hit, dropping over 1/2 million viewers and 14% in the demo ratings. ABC dropped behind CBS, for the night, in the A18-49 ratings.


CBS fared relatively better. Viewership for the night was down 200,000, but the A18-49 ratings remained the same, thanks to a 15% increase by MOM in the demographic. It looks like THE BIG BANG THEORY lead in may be helping.

NBC's THE VOICE saw losses in both categories. Viewership was off by nearly 200k and the A18-49 ratings were down another two tenths of a ratings point. Since the premiere, THE VOICE, Monday edition, has lost 1.3 million viewers and is down 16% in the demo ratings.

FOX was down for the night because of a repeat episode of SLEEPY HOLLOW, but the Wedding episode of BONES rose 300k in total viewers and was up 10% in the A18-49 ratings. For most of this fall, BONES has been one of the more consistent shows in the ratings.

ABC - 12.4 million viewers, 2.0 rating in Adults 18-49

CBS - 6.8 million viewers, 2.1 rating in Adults 18-49

CW - 0.9 million viewers, 0.4 rating in Adults 18-49

FOX - 5.4 million viewers, 1.6 rating in Adults 18-49

NBC - 12.6 million viewers, 3.9 rating in Adults 18-49
