Social Activity TV Chart: September 26, 2013
It was another active day in socialTV media as eight programs (1 cable, 7 broadcast) draw 100,000, or more, social posts on Thursday. The #1 show was GLEE on FOX. The veteran musical/comedy collected over 356,000 social posts during its window. I am sure most of the audience was watching to see how/if they address the Cory Monteith death within the show. Expect GLEE to fall back to regular levels in a few weeks.
JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE receive an out of character spike in activity Thursday night. It ranked 4th on the broadcast chart with over 235k in social posts. It looks to have been a regular show and not either night which featured Sir Paul McCarney or Just Timberlake performances.
NFL Football was king on cable as THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL was the most active show of the day with over 181,000 posts about the game. Had the game, featuring the 49ers vs Rames, been closer, it may have generated more activity.

On air activity reflects the window three hours before and after a show airs and daily activity reflects a twenty four hour period from 6am to 6am.
