Social Activity TV Chart: September 11, 2013

The Nielsen ratings may be down, but THE X-FACTOR lit up the social media networks with huge activity on Wednesday night. The series premiere collected over 444,000 social postings, more than 4 times the next closest program. But, this does show that huge activity on the social networks does not always mean ratings success. MASTER CHEF topped THE X-FACTOR in the ratings, but had just an fraction of the social activity THE X-FACTOR grabbed.

Over on the cable charts, DUCK DYNASTY was on top with just under 110,000 active posts, double what the #2 program, HONEY BOO BOO, generated.

Doen at #6 and #7 is the first FXX programs. IT'S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA and THE LEAGUE hauled in over 58,000 social messages between the two them. A good showing for a network less than a couple weeks old.
