Ratings Review: SUBURGATORY (Season Two)

Sophomore sitcom SUBURGATORY was still reaping good ratings thanks to the best lead in for an ABC series. MODERN FAMILY.

On average, the series pulled in 5.67 million viewers and a 2.0 rating in Adults 18-49, for its 26 airings, including three repeats. It's retention rate from MODERN FAMILY usually hovered in the 60% range. Not a great number, by any means. What may have saved the sitcom for getting a 3rd season order was how bad the spring sitcoms did while it was out.

SUBURGATORY will return to ABC sometime in mid-season for the 2013-14 season.
