Ratings Review: THE OFFICE (The Final Season)

It is a shame that a great comedy like the office ended up going two years past its prime. Once Steve Carrell left the series, it lost everything. The writing, the stories, the character, direction... everything.

Personally, I gave up on the series about 6-8 weeks in to the 2011-12 season. Everyone became a caricature of themselves. it was very hard to watch it any longer. But, I did watch the series finale. The best parts were the few moment we had with the Michael Scott character. What ever he had, it made the series.

For the season, THE OFFICE averaged 3.65 million viewers and a 1.8 rating in Adults 18-49, for the 31 airings it had, including six repeat episodes. There are still good memories of the series, but unfortunately, it will never be a classic because of the last 2+ seasons.
