Ratings Review: HOW TO LIVE WITH YOUR PARENTS (For The Rest Of Your Life)

When will ABC ever learn about giving series titles longer titles than a new born in the Royal Family? Each and every one of them end up dead within a couple of season, usually after its first. HOW TO LIVE WITH YOUR PARENTS continues that tradition.

The series actually had a promising start. it's retention rate was a lot better than the former occupant, SUBURGATORY, holding around 20%, at the start. When FAMILY would air a repeat episode in front of its original, it held the lead in at nearly 100%. But, as the weeks wore on, the gap between PARENTS and FAMILY widened and HOW TO LIVE WITH YOUR PARENTS became yet another sitcom casualty from ABC.

For its 13 episode run, HOW TO LIVE WITH YOUR PARENTS (For The Rest Of Your Life) averaged 5.35 million viewers and a 1.8 rating in Adults 18-49. For the 2013-14 season, all of the new ABC sitcoms are titles of three words or less.
