Ratings Review: HOLLYWOOD GAME NIGHT
The new NBC game show HOLLYWOOD GAME NIGHT was exactly a hit, but for eight strait weeks, it won its time slot in the A18-49 ratings. Something few NBC series can brag about.
It is not like the competition was tough for HGN. It had weak encores of ELEMENTARY, on CBS, and a decent crime drama on ABC. It usually came in third in total viewers, but maintained that low one rating in the demographic. That is the level that will usually get you renewed as a summer series.
For the eight episode season, HOLLYWOOD GAME NIGHT averaged 3.7 million viewers and a respectable;e 1.2 rating in Adults 18-49. NBC has already renewed the series for a second run, next summer, with a 10 episode order.
