Ratings: Broadcast Finals for September 18, 2013

SURVIVOR is back with some of your favorite players and their loved ones in Blood vs Water. The season premiere drew 9.7 million viewers and a 2.6 rating in Adults 18-49. The episode was #1 in its time slot and was the #1 show of the night in the A18-49 ratings. However, year-to-year ratings are down 1.6 million viewers and 19% in the demo ratings. The series may not be a strong as it once was, but it is still a player in primetime.

Leading out of SURVIVOR was BIG BROTHER, as it ended its 15th season. The finale kept 6.7 million viewers from its lead in, and a 2.5 demo rating. The two CBS reality competition programs pushed CBS to the top of the ratings in the A18-49 category.

Also calling it a season was AMERICA'S GOT TALENT. 11.2 million viewers tuned in and generated a 2.5 rating in Adults 18-49. Compared to last year, that is up 6% in viewers and 4% in the A18-49 numbers. It is a no-brainer that AGT will be back next summer.

Earlier on NBC, night 8 of MILLION DOLLAR QUIZ managed to grab 4.9 million viewers and a 1.1 demo rating. It is down slightly from last Wednesday night.
