Ratings: Broadcast Finals for August 9, 2013
PAWN STARS dominates the Thursday night cable ratings, taking the top two spots on the chart. The two episodes were the only programs to draw over four million viewers, with the 9:30 airing getting just under five million. A third episode of the popular reality series placed 9th, with 2.7 million viewers.
The top program in the A18-49 ratings was ALIEN SHAR, part of Discovery's Shark Week. The special drew a 1.5 rating in the demo graphic, plus 3.2 million viewers. The earlier Shark special, SHARKPOOCALYPSE, drew 2.7 million viewers, finishing 10th.
Disney is still getting mileage from their TEEN BEACH MOVIE. Another encore airing drew 3.6 million viewers, good enough to place 4th on the night. I wonder if they have thought about remaking any of the Frankie and Annette movies, word for word?
