Ratings: Broadcast Finals for August 21, 2013

MASTERCHEF was the #1 show of the night, in Adults 18-49, pulling in a 2.4 rating. This is the second straight week that the cooking competition series has beat both BIG BROTHER and AMERICA'S GOT TALENT, in the valued demographic. Expect ratings to trend upward as the series comes to a close in a few weeks.


Doing the opposite of MASTER CHEF is AMERICA'S GOT TALENT. as the series winds down towards crowning a champion, the ratings have been falling. For the first time on Wednesdays, it was the #3 show in the A18-49 ratings, behind the other two reality series. The fall in the ratings is not just on Wednesday nights as Tuesdays are showing the same trend.

BIG BROTHER may not have been #1 on Wednesday night, but it did experience a 10% jump in the A18-49 ratings from last week. Over all, CBS was up a tenth of a ratings point for the night, compared to last week.

A week after posting on of its best rating in many weeks, THE LOOKOUT fell back to reality. The series dropped 30% in the demo ratings 17% in viewership from the 14th.

CBS - 5.5 million viewers, 1.4 rating in Adults 18-49

CW - 1.0 million viewers, 0.3 rating in Adults 18-49

FOX - 4.3 million viewers, 1.8 rating in Adults 18-49

NBC - 6.1 million viewers, 1.4 rating in Adults 18-49
