Ratings: Broadcast Finals for August 15, 2013

CBS easily wins Thursday night, posting the top three most watched programs of the evening, and the top three shows in the A1-49 ratings. The top program of the night was summer staple BIG BROTHER. It generated 6.3 million viewers and a 2.2 rating in Adults 18-49. The numbers are down since NFL Preseason football is being carried by a lot of local affiliates, through the weekend.

It has been a rather quiet summer for WIPEOUT. It is not doing horribly, but it is also not doing terrifically, either. Thursday, it tied its season high in the A18-49 ratings, which is at the "average" most summer original programs are generating. If its lucky, WIPEOUT could see one more season, unless it does something innovative and exciting to draw back viewers.

Thursday Night Network Averages:
ABC - 4.2 million viewers, 1.0 rating in Adults 18-49
CBS - 5.6 million viewers, 1.5 rating in Adults 18-49
CW - 0.7 million viewers, 0.3 rating in Adults 18-49
FOX - 1.4 million viewers, 0.5 rating in Adults 18-49
NBC - 3.2 million viewers, 1.0 rating in Adults 18-49
