Ratings: Broadcast Finals for August 11, 2013

CBS sweeps Sunday night in both total viewers (6.9 million) and in Adults 18-49 (1.4). 60 MINUTES got a nice bump thank to a good performance by the golf tournament that lead in to the veteran news program. It scored the nights most viewers with 8.6 million and was the second highest rated program in the A18-49 ratings, with a 1.2 mark.

BIG BROTHER was the night's #1 program in Adults 18-49, drawing a 2.4 rating. That is a small rebound from last week, which took a hit against NFL preseason football.

FOX's coverage of the TEEN CHOICE AWARDS tanked. Just 2.6 million viewers, and a 0.8 demo rating, stayed with the program over its two our broadcast. The special was down from last years program, 20% in the A18-49 ratings and 13% in viewers. It may be time for FOX to let another network take the awards program. The CW or DIsney would be perfect choices.
