Discovery kicked of its annual Shark Week programming the #1 most watched show of the night MEGALODON MONSTER SHARK. The 9 PM show drew 4.8 million viewers and a 2.2 rating in Adults 18-49. The special took a bite out of TRUE BLOOD, which lost 4% in viewership and 8% in the demo ratings, from the previous week.
FALLING SKIES season finale collected 3.7 million viewers and a 1.2 demo rating. That is up 22% in viewers and 20% in the demo from last week. Good news for fans is that not only was FALLING SKIES renewed for a fourth season, but the order was upped to 12 episodes, instead of the usual 10.
