Complete Nielsen Ratings: Week of August 12, 2013
The full Nielsen rankings and ratings from #1 to #91:
Without NFL football and AMERICA'S GOT TALENT down, NBC looked very ordinary as they finished the week in either second or third place, in all the reported ratings categories. Of its five top 20 programs, three are AMERICA'S GOT TALENT. Add a fourth airing of the talent show and you have all of the networks top 30 programs for the week.
ABC continued to stay competitive with the CMA MUSIC FESTIVAL special on Monday, August 12th. The country jam drew 8.2 million viewers, #4 on the week. Also seeing a bit of ratings success are the left over episodes of SECRET MILLIONAIRE. With 4.9 million viewers, it was the #20 program of the week. ROOKIE BLUE (#24) and AFV (#26) round out ABC's top 30 list.
CBS again has the top program of the week with UNDER THE DOME. It lead a total of 17 programs in the top 30 for network. All but three programs (two from saturday and a 2 BROKE GIRLS) finished 38th or higher.
FOX, with help from the NFL, saw ratings go up and lead it to demographic ratings victories in A18-49 and A18-34 and tie with CBS in the A25-54 ratings. Both the Friday night and Sunday night preseason games ranked in the top 30, along with summer cooking series MASTERCHEF. Not all news is good as only including SYTYCD make up FOX's total top 50 programs list.
We are just 4 1/2 weeks from the "official" start of the 2013 fall season, but the NFL begins in two weeks and some series are starting a week early, like SURVIVOR and BONES. This summer has not been as bad as previous summers as all of the networks are scheduling plenty of original content.
