Top 20 Scripted Cable Programs: July 15 - 21, 2013
DISNEY Dominated this week in scripted programming. It posted the #1 program of the week, with TEEN BEACH MOVIE, which drew 8.4 million viewers on its initial airing. A encore airing on Sunday drew another 4.4 million viewers. It looks like the network has its new "HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL" franchise.
In addition to the hit movie, DISNEY placed a total of six programs in the top 20. More than any other network. The new series LIV AND MADDIE received a solid sampling as the lead out program from TEEN BEACH MOVIE, grabbing 5.8 million viewers.
TNT continues to do well this summer, placing five programs in the top 20 and three in the top 10.
