Ratings Review: RAISING HOPE (Season Three)

I know RAISING HOPE has a small, cult following, but I am surprised FOX renewed the series for another season. Its ratings were never above 5 million viewers or a 1.8 demo rating. Its only saving grace is that it did better than the two new comedies.

For the season, RAISING HOPE averaged just 3.66 million viewers and a 1.6 rating in Adults 18-49. There were 24 airings of the series, with just two repeats. Getting a fourth season for the 2013-14 season, puts it in great position for a fifth season, next year. Syndication dollars are where the networks/production companies make the big money.
