TV News Roundup: Week of June 3, 2013
It was a relatively slow week in TV news. A few renewals, a couple of cancellations and new cable networks select the first of their original series.

- BEST INK gets a third season
Oxygen as ordered another season of the tattoo competition series.
- THE WENDY WILLIAM SHOW earns extension:
The syndicated daytime talk show will run through the 2016-17 TV season. - WGN America orders first series:
The "super station" out of Chicago has ordered 13 episodes of the original 17th century drama series SALEM.
- Showtime cancels drama:
After three seasons, THE BORGIAS will end after with its June 16th finale. - Conan to host new series on TCM:
Conan O'Brien will host the series CARSON ON TCM, which will feature classic interviews with Hollywood's biggest stars. The series premiere is July 1 at 8 p.m.. - ABC sitcom to get a title change:
The new sitcom 2013-14 sitcom THE FAMILY GUIDE will now be titled GROWING UP FISHER.
- NURSE JACKIE will continue:
Showtime has renewed the veteran series for a sixth season, which will air in 2014. - FXX first original series will be animated:
The new cable network from FOX (Launching September 2) has its first original series in the animated comedy CHOZEN, about a gay, white rapper, just released from jail. - Sundance Channel picks up original series:
DREAM SCHOOL, produced by Jamie Oliver and "50 Cent" will premiere this fall.
- Two GROWN UPS starts to guest on Disney series:
Adam Sandler and Chris Rock will both play themselves in two Disney Channel series JESSIE and A.N.T. FARM, on June 28th.
