Top 20 Cable Sports Programs - Week Of 05/27/13

For perhaps for the last time this year, the NBA dominates the cable sports ratings chart with playoff basketball taking the top four spots, plus three more spots, in the top 20, for pre-game programming.

The Eastern Conference Finals, presented by TNT, was the more popular and competitive series of the two series. The three games placed by the Pacers and heat drew an average of 8.3 million viewers and a 3.5 rating in Adults 18-49. The Saturday night game topped all broadcast programming to be the #1 program in the nation, for the night.

A surprise addition to the chart this week is a game from the College Softball World Series. It drew 1.2 million viewers on a Saturday night. It may not yet be a huge ratings force, but the growth of the month long event is something to keep an eye on.
