Ratings Review: DANCING WITH THE STARS (Spring 2013)

This season may be the beginning of the end for the long running, successful dance competition series. The spring 2013 season was the second straight season of under performing ratings, especially in the A18-49 demographic. Like the fall edition, DANCING WITH THE STARS averaged 13. .2 million viewers (down 200k) and a 2.2 rating in Adults 18-49.

Next season, DANCING WITH THE STARS will be knocked down to just one airing per week. This could be a good thing for the series, with a possibility/hopes of ratings gains with fewer airings.
