Ratings: Broadcast Finals for April 27, 2013

FOX and NASCAR dominate Saturday with the prime time race in Richmond. The race drew an average of 6.1 million viewers and a decent 1.5 rating in the A18-49 demographic. A far cry better than the regular programming of COPS and THE FOLLOWING encores that have occupied the night.

CBS laid an egg with its special MAYWETHER. It was dead last on the night in both viewers and demo ratings. You know people don't care when you are beaten by NBC's SMNASH. But 48 HOURS did make up the difference (5 million viewers) and pushed CBS to second place on the night.

ABC and NBC battled to stay out of 4th place, in total viewers, and it was ABC's BET ON YOUR BABY that was the difference. The ABC game show drew a 32% larger audience than did NBC's SMASH. But, don't expect to see either program beyond this spring run.

Saturday Night Averages:
FOX - 6.1 million viewers, 1.5 rating in Adults 18-49.
CBS - 3.8 million viewers, 0.6 rating in Adults 18-49.
ABC - 2.2 million viewers, 0.6 rating in Adults 18-49.
