Social TV Activity Chart for April 26, 2013

ESPN dominated all of social TV messaging with four programs in the top five. Three Basketball games, over tow of it's networks, brought in over 1.2 million social posts. Ad that to the 665k the NFL Draft coverage brought in and you have a dominating network. It also shows that if you want eyes on your network, on a Friday night, air sports events.

On the opposite end of the Social TV spectrum, broadcast TV was barely noticeable when compared to the cable chart. Just over 30,000 posted were related to the top Broadcast program, +Grimm. The network may need to look into getting sports on Friday nights. But, now that I think about it, the big 4 sports have recently upped all their contracts over the next decade, or more. Oh, well. I guess we are stuck with having more shows like FASHION STAR hitting the airwaves.
