Ratings: Broadcast Finals for April 17, 2013

With all of the other networks airing mostly repeats, FOX and AMERICAN IDOL easily win Wednesday night. Pulling in over 12.7 million viewers and a 3.4 demo rating, AMERICAN IDOL dominates the night. The only other show to come close to it was SURVIVOR, on CBS, with 10 million viewers and a 2.7 demo rating. American Idol appears to be rebounding in the ratings as numbers have been slowing going up, over the last week or two.

SUBURGATORY aired two episode, including its season finale. The 8 p.m. episode  collected 5.4 million, 1.5 demo rating, but a growth of 13% in the A18-49 demo ratings may be the edge the series needed to get that 3rd season renewal come next month.

Also "on its own," was the new sitcom HOW TO LIVE WITH YOUR PARENTS. It did drop 20% in the demo and 1.3 million viewers, it did hold nearly all of its delivered audience from an encore episode of MODERN FAMILY. The Brad Garrett series now has to perform well the next time a new episode of MODERN FAMILY lead into it.

FOX - 12.7 million viewers, 3.4 rating in Adults 18-49.

CBS - 7.7 million viewers, 1.9 rating in Adults 18-49.

ABC - 4.8 million viewers, 1.5 rating in Adults 18-49.

NBC - 4.3 million viewers, 1.1 rating in Adults 18-49.

CW - 1.5 million viewers, 0.5 rating in Adults 18-49.
