Complete Nielsen Ratings: Week of April 1, 2013
The full Nielsen rankings and ratings from #1 to #100:
CBS dominated the week in all categories with a healthy dose of Sports, specials and regular series. The network owned the top 5 most watched programs, lead by the #1 show of the week, THE BIG BANG THEORY, with 17.2 million viewers.
Saturday's late basketball game drew 17.1 million viewers for second place, but topped the sitcom in the A18-49 ratings, 5.7 to 5.2. Having the game on Saturday night voided a usual sub 1.0 demo rating against the weekly average.
CBS also produced 17 top 30 programs. Every CBS program was rated at #55 or hight, for the week.
NBC, ABC and FOX all had entries in the top 15, exclusively from their reality talent shows, except ABC did manage to place CASTLE at #1, with 11.8 million viewers.
A look at some of the shows that have new time slots and we see that most either faired the same, if not worse than in their old time slot. DATELINE was the exception as it doubled the viewing audience from the previous week and improved the A18-49 ratings by 40%.
GO ON, now on Thursdays at 9:30, lost about half of its audience by not having THE VOICE as its lead in.
VEGAS pulled in series lows on Friday night (7.7 million viewers, 0.9 demo rating) and finished in third place in both measured categories.
SMASH, now banished to Saturday nights, lost a third of its audiences, from just four days earlier.
The five least viewed programs from the BIG 4 Networks (excluding Saturdays):
