Top 20 Scripted Cable Programs for Week of 03/18/13

Week four of THE BIBLE vs THE WALKING DEAD have the zombies on top with just shy of 11 million viewers to  THE BIBLE's 10.3 million viewers. Over the four weeks, each series has two wins each. The Eater Sunday match of both series having their season finales should draw record numbers for on of the two popular series.

In series premiere ratings, BATES MOTEL had a strong sampling on Monday night. The series drew over 3 million viewers and a combined total of 4.6 million when you ad in the encore that followed. If interest holds for the new series, A&E will soon bost as having the top rated drama on TV, in a couple of weeks.

Not fairing well is the new drama on FX, THE AMERICANS. It has fallen down to just 1.6 million viewers, down about 50% from its premiere numbers. It may be on the fence on weather a second season is ordered, but if you are a fan, hope does not start and end with FX. This is the type of series you could see Netflix or Amazon picking up for their streaming services.
