Ratings Review: SECOND GENERATION WAYANS

SECOND GENERATION WAYANS, like the show that lead in to it (REAL HUSBANDS OF HOLLYWOOD), on BET, had a big splash in the ratings for the series premiere. 3.4 million viewers were curious to see what the nephews of Damond and Keenan had to show us. Based on the erosion of viewers over the season, I would say that there was not much shown.

Between the first and eighth episode, the series lost 69% of its series premiere audience, or 2.2 million viewers. It is hard to get another season order with those steep declines. But, one positive sign is that the last two episodes did build on that series low point by 30%.

BET has not announced if/when another season of SECOND GENERATION WAYANS will happen. But at this point, it does not look good.
