Ratings Review: KING OF THE NERDS

TBS did come up with what appears to be a nice compliment program for its THE BIG BANG THEORY rerun package, KING OF THE NERDS. It was a Nerd-Fest, so to speak, each Thursday night.

The reality series premiered to decent numbers, 2 million viewers and a decent 1.0 demo rating. But it appeared that  the novelty of the program wore off quickly. It lost almost 50% of its total viewing audience by the 6th episode. But as the season finale was nearing, half of the lost audience found their way back.

KING OF THE NERDS was picked up for another 8 episode 2nd season. Hopefully, they will tweak the series to keep viewers with the program through the season run.
