Ratings: Broadcast Finals for March 14, 2013
CBS sweeps the night with both the most total viewers and the highest A18-49 rating, among the five broadcast networks, on a night with few repeat programming.
THE BIG BANG THEORY was, again, the top show of the night, but took a hefty drop from the previous week. The 15.9 million viewers and 4.8 demo rating represents a drop of 2.7 million viewers and 13% in the demo ratings. Nothing really to worry about this as the spring drop just finally caught up with the #1 comedy.
PERSON OF INTEREST didn't see a drop. In fact, it was up 0.1 of a ratings point, in the A18-49 ratings, from the previous week. It was the #1 show for the 9 p.m. hour as all five networks had original programming against the drama.
GREY'S ANATOMY saw a significant drop from its last original episode. On February 21, the hospital drama drew 1/2 million more viewers and 19% more in the demo, than last nights 8.2 million viewers and 2.6 rating. Just another victim to the spring viewing habits, but it is interesting to see which shows are affected and when it finally happens.
