Ratings: Broadcast Finals for February 14, 2013
It was Valentine's Day and ABC took the opportunity to say I LOVE YOU with the series premiere of ZERO HOUR. However, the new drama failed to impress and may never see another Valentines Day again.
ZERO HOUR drew just 6.4 million viewers and a below average 1.4 rating in Adults 18-49. Compared to the series finale of the previous time slot occupant, LAST RESORT, it was up 15% in total viewers and a 0.2 mark in the demo ratings. Not exactly setting the world on fire. The count down to the series' zero hour has started, and is not too far off.
THE BIG BANG THEORY was the night #1 program, again, with 17.6 million viewers and a 5.5 demo rating. Compared to last week's ratings that was down just 8% in viewers and A18-49 ratings. It is on par with the ratings the series got two weeks go, on January 31.
COMMUNITY did not do well in week two. It dropped nearly 30% in viewers and 42% in the A18-49 ratings from its season premiere. The only shot this series has to getting renewal is that NBC owns the series and may want more episodes for syndication purposes only.
For the night...
CBS - 13.8 million viewers, 3.3 A18-49 rating.
FOX - 8.9 million viewers, 2.7 A18-49 rating.
ABC - 7.7 million viewers, 2.3 A18-49 rating.
NBC - 3.5 million viewers, 1.4 A18-49 rating.
CW - 1.9 million viewers, 0.8 A18-49 rating.
