Ratings: Broadcast Finals for February 24, 2013
Kicking the night off for ABC was 90 minutes of Red Carpet coverage. It collected over 18 million viewers and a decent 4.8 demo rating. Over the last few years, the star's entry in to these awards show is almost big as the event itself.
At 8:30, the awards program started and ABC should be happy with the numbers. 40.4 million viewers and a 13.0 demo rating. That is. up 1 million viewers and a 1.3 ratings point in the demo, from last year's ceremoney.
Everything else on the night was in repeats, except THE AMAZING RACE. Not exactly sure why CBS decided to air a new episode on the night. They could have always had a 2 hour special edition and bump a repeat of THE GOOD WIFE. Anyways... It drew a decent 7 million viewers and a 1.9 demo rating. That was the best numbers by a program not on ABC for the night.
Network averages for Sunday:
ABC - 32.0 million viewers, 9.9 rating in A18-49 demo.

FOX - 2.9 million viewers, 1.3 rating in A18-49 demo.
