Ratings: Broadcast Finals for February 8, 2013

There were two premieres on Friday night. TOUCH had its second season premiere on FOX, while CBS has the series premiere of THE JOB. Based on the ratings, both series will be looking for new employment very soon.

TOUCH scored just 3.7 million viewers and a 1.0 demo rating over the two hours, similar to the recent numbers posted by both KITCHEN NIGHTMARES and FRINGE. The last thing FOX needs is another ratings performer like FRINGE. Perhaps it is time to move COPS over to Friday nights, then FOX can fully commit to Saturday night sports, 52 weeks of the year.

THE JOB did not get any letter of recommendation last night. The series premiere pulled in 4.1 million viewers and a 0.9 demo rating. It was #3 in the hour with viewers, but was closer to the CW, in the demo ratings, than it was to ABC, the night's demo leader.

* SHARK TANK once again was the night's winner in the A18-49 ratings with a 1.8.
* ROCK CENTER found a little success on Friday night, pulling in 6.3 million viewers and a 1.2 demo rating.
* CSI: NY got a bump in the demo ratings (1.6) from Part 2 of the crossover from CSI.

CBS - 8.3 million viewers, 1.3 demo rating
NBC - 6.7 million viewers, 1.3 demo rating
FOX - 3.8 million viewers, 1.0 demo rating
CW - 1.0 million viewers, 0.4 demo rating
