Complete Nielsen Ratings: Week of Feb. 18, 2013
The full Nielsen rankings and ratings from #1 to #102:
ABC rides to a rare weekly win on the strength of THE ACADEMY AWARDS on Sunday.
With Sunday night's coverage of the Oscars sliced up into four separate programs (three Red Carpet and the ceremony), ABC placed all four programs in the top 11, with the Ceremony at #1 with over 40 million viewers. The three Red Carpet programs ranged from 13.4 million viewers to 25.5 million viewers. The network's only other two programs in the top 20 were MODERN FAMILY (#16) with 10.7 million viewers and CASTLE (#19) with 10.3 million viewers.
CBS finished second for the week and placed 12 programs in the top 20, including the most watched series (NCIS with 21.1 million). CBS had 11 series generate viewership of 10 million viewers, or more.
FOX's two AMERICAN IDOL edition were the lone two programs in the top 20 from the network. But FOX did manage to edge out CBS for second place in the A18-49 demo rating. The extra hour of AI on Thursday may have just been the extra push to get the network over CBS.
NBC failed to place a single series in the top 30. It averaged under 4 million viewers for the week. Almost nothing is working for NBC. Only CHICAGO FIRE (#38) and Friday's DATELINE (#40) are able to generate viewership over 6 million. Even when THE VOICE and REVOLUTION return, the other five nights will still be in shambles.
