NBC clearly dominates the season, that is a given, but this week, NBC tops the #2 network by almost 3 ratings points.
NBC not only had its dominate line up in place, but it covered the 6th and deciding game of the NLCS (#12 and two games of the World Series (#20 and #6). Between the three games, NBC averaged 19 million viewers for each game. The Sunday night game, Game #2 of the World Series, drew the most at 22.5 million viewers and was the top program of the night.
Lets take a look at the top 3 programs from bith UPN and The WB.
On UPN, the network is lead by MOESHA (#94) with 5.2 million viewers, STAR TREK VOYAGE (#102) with 5 million viewers. This is down as much as 50% from just 18 months earlier when the series and network premiered. MALCOM & EDDIE also drew 5 million viewers, but ranked a spot below at #103.
THE WB top three consist of SMART GUY with 5.9 million viewers, 7th HEAVEN at 5.6 million viewers, and SISTER, SISTER (#96) with 5.5 million viewers. What kept The WB from overtaking UPN was its Sunday lineup. The night averaged below 3 million viewers for the three hours.
