Ratings Review: ANIMAL PRACTICE

I must confess that of all the freshmen comedies, I thought ANIMAL PRACTICE was the most promising of a class that was sub-par, at best. I did not expect it no be the first comedy and second series over all to be cancelled in the 2012-13 season. But it is obvious that after the special preview during the Summer Olympics immediately turned off viewers.

The smart thing NBC did was to get the series off the air before the November sweeps, something CBS should have done with the equally bad PARTNERS. However, since the cancellation, NBC's ratings have not improved with the 2nd year series WHITNEY taking the time slot.
