Ratings: Broadcast Finals for November 30, 2012

It was a tight battle but ABC edges CBS for the night's demo win, but CBS dominates all networks in total viewership.

CBS wins the nigh with an average viewership of 10 million viewers, lead by the return of BLUE BLOODS with 11.3 million viewers. The Veteran cop drama has been of a few weeks as holiday programming has been scheduled. Both it and CSI: NY posted respectable A18-49 ratings of 1.5. Earlier in the evening, UNDER COVER BOSS posted the nights #1 program in the demo with a 1.8 rating.

ABC too the nightly demo win with a consistent performance all three hours. Surprising since SHARK TANK was a repeat episode. ABC took both the 9:00 p.m. hour and 10:00 p.m. hour. 20/20 was the top performer on the network with a 1.7 rating in Adults 18-49.

FOX had a better than usual Friday night with the Pac-12 football championship game. Not that the ratings were stellar, but the 4.9 million viewer, 14. demo rating average was a sizable increase from the KITCHEN NIGHTMARES/FRINGE combo that regularly airs during the night.

NBC didn't put up much of a fight with two encore programs and DATELINE. Averaging just under a 0.9 demo rating nothing to write home about.
