Ratings: Broadcast Finals for December 25, 2012

ABC and CBS found some decent success with programming Christmas night. ABC, with help of an NBC overrun into prime time, pulled in decent numbers for both the animated special and the Live action movie of HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS. Nearly 5 million viewers and an A18-49 rating of 1.7 stayed with ABC over the course of 2.5 hours.

CBS found loyalty with encore episodes of their regular Tuesday line up. almost 10 million viewers tuned into NCIS on Christmas night. Although the 1.4 demo rating is nothing special, on Christmas night, it is a decent number. CBS won the night in total viewers for the night.
