Ratings: Broadcast Finals for November 24, 2012
ABC took full advantage of a great college match up with Notre Dame going for a perfect season, against USC Saturday night. 16.1 million viewers and an impressive 5.1 demo rating ruled the night. It was the most watched Saturday night game on ABC in 7 years.Although it is true that viewers will watch programming on Saturday nights, if it is good programming, but to sustain it over a season is not possible, outside of the NFL scheduling games on the night... and that will never happen.
The only other program of note was the burn off episode of CBS' MADE IN JERSY at 8:00 p.m. It pulled in a measly 2.5 million viewers and a very CW-like 0.3 demo rating. MADE IN JERSEY could end up just like last year's HOW TO BE A GENTLEMAN and be pulled from Saturday nights because of ultra-low ratings.
