Complete Nielsen Ratings: Week of 10/29/12
The full Nielsen rankings and ratings from #1 to #8:
One of the last fall season/series premieres took place on Friday and ABC had good reason to cheer. Both LAST MAN STANDING and MALIBU COUNTRY took their time slots and posted impressive numbers. MALIBU COUNTRY is now the #1 New Comedy by attracting 9.13 million viewers and a 2.3 rating in Adults 18-49.
CBS dominated the this week's chart in total viewers, taking 7 spots of the top 10, and 15 of the top 25. All 15 of those programs attracted over 10 million viewers each. ABC had six such programs and NBC had the final four. FOX was shut out of the top 30, as its top program was THE X-FACTOR at #38, 7.6 million viewers.
NBC edges CBS in the A18-49 ratings. The peacock network has five of the top seven programs in the demo, with its power duo of SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL and THE VOICE. Those 10 hours of programming average a 4.5 rating, or better. That is why NBC leads the season in the demo. Beyond that power house, NBC places just two more programs in the top 40. REVOLUTION (3.0) and NBC News Special (2.8). You have to go down to #46 for the next NBC program, GRIMM (1.8).
